Key Review Excerpts

The nurses, the pt team and staff were great and very understanding. Even the food was very good. I have nothing but thanks and gratitude to the whole staff at Care one !!

Rehab patient · 2024★★★★★

The only reason it isn’t a five star is that all nursing homes require agency to fill in staff and the night shift considering some are temps will not be nearly as caring about your situation as they should be to be put frank.

Rehab patient · 2024★★★★

My grandfather has been a patient at Care One New Bedford a few times over the years and there’s a reason why he always goes back to the same place. They treat him like a member of the family but also make sure to get him in shape to get back home.

7deficiencies
Near state avg (8.9)
2 complaint-triggered

This facility shows recurring issues across multiple care areas despite claimed corrections. The most problematic patterns involve infection control, medication management, and care planning, with identical deficiencies appearing repeatedly across surveys from 2023 to 2025. Additionally, families have filed formal complaints leading to findings about infection control and medication labeling. While all deficiencies were reportedly corrected, the persistent recurrence of the same problems suggests ongoing operational challenges that families should investigate thoroughly during visits.
