We've built the data layer underneath EveryPlace into a structured, regularly refreshed resource for institutional users — combining federal CMS Care Compare data, state licensing records, and computed benchmarks into a single coherent dataset covering tens of thousands of nursing homes, assisted living communities, memory care communities, and other senior care facilities.
What's in the dataset
- 1
Federal CMS Care Compare — overall and component star ratings, health inspection deficiencies, RN and total nurse staffing hours, quality measure scores, penalty and fine history, ownership and chain affiliation
- 2
State licensing data — assisted living and memory care inspection records, deficiency details, and report links from state agencies including California CCLD, Washington DSHS, Iowa DIAL, Colorado CDPHE, Texas HHSC, and others
- 3
Computed benchmarks — state-level percentile rankings, peer group comparisons, and trend analysis
- 4
Regular source refreshes — refreshed from primary public sources on a regular cadence
