What this means for your family

Bryn Mawr Village is frequently praised for its clean environment and effective physical therapy team, making it a potential candidate for short-term rehab. However, families must be vigilant; multiple reviewers have reported significant issues with night-shift responsiveness and communication. We strongly recommend visiting during off-hours and asking specifically how the facility handles call-bell response times and medication management.

Bryn Mawr Village receives highly polarized feedback, with many families praising the facility for its cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, and effective rehabilitation therapy. However, a significant number of reviewers report serious concerns regarding inconsistent staffing levels, poor communication from administration, and instances of neglect, particularly during night shifts and weekends. Families should be aware that while many have positive experiences, there is a recurring pattern of complaints regarding responsiveness and the quality of care provided by temporary or agency staff.

Key Review Excerpts

The staff is wonderful and very kind and caring. It’s not a fancy place, but what really matters is the quality of care which was above what we experienced in other local facilities.

Memory care family member · 2025★★★★★

My mother was laying in her urine for 2hrs before someone came to help the county needs to shut that place down and they were operating without a social worker in that place which i know is ille

Long-term resident's family · 2024☆☆☆☆

The Rehab Dept is great-very knowledgeable and valuable (Paul, Lily, Jennie, Mike) and the unit manager, Deirdre does her best. But the care is questionable and the nurses just dispense meds and do not tell you what is given even if specifically asked.

This facility has a concerning pattern of 46 deficiencies across multiple surveys, with families filing at least four complaints that triggered investigations. The most recurring issues involve resident rights violations, care planning problems, and nutrition/dietary services. Most deficiencies appear corrected, but two recent complaint-related violations regarding abuse response and grievance procedures remain without correction plans, raising red flags about resident safety and advocacy.
