What this means for your family

While the activities department and specific nursing aides are highly praised, the facility has a persistent history of serious hygiene and response-time issues. Families should conduct an unannounced visit during a weekend or evening shift to observe staffing levels and cleanliness firsthand before committing.

Broadview Multi Care Center receives highly polarized feedback, with many families reporting severe neglect, poor hygiene, and unresponsive staff. While some residents and short-term rehab patients praise specific staff members and the activities department, these positive experiences are frequently overshadowed by recurring reports of call lights being ignored, inadequate wound care, and unsanitary living conditions.

Key Review Excerpts

My uncle has been there a few months. Only had limited therapy supposedly because of insurance. I have been there numerous times and had to change his bed linens. I have also been there when he has put on his call light and had to wait over twenty minutes.

Memory care family member · 2022☆☆☆☆

My mother Geraldine Iley stayed for about 2 weeks in room 28, while she was there she had a wonderful aide by the name of Lucy . Lucy was always so tentative to her needs and also brought a smile and happiness to my mother

Long-term resident's family · 2024★★★★

I WOULD NOT PUT A DOG THAT BIT ME IN THIS PLACE. This joint deserves ZERO stars and probably should be closed down. I removed my sister from this place when she called me, crying and begging me to come and take her home. THERE WAS A MOUSE IN HER ROOM
