What this means for your family

This facility is highly regarded for its cleanliness and professional rehabilitation therapy, making it a strong candidate for short-term recovery. However, families should be aware of recurring reports regarding slow response times for basic assistance and inconsistent communication. We recommend asking specifically about their current staffing ratios for the floor your loved one will be on and establishing a clear point of contact for medical updates.

Bel-Air Manor receives a high volume of positive feedback praising its cleanliness, friendly front-desk staff, and effective rehabilitation therapy programs. However, there is a recurring pattern of critical concerns regarding inconsistent nursing care, slow response times for call bells, and poor communication with families during medical changes. Families should weigh the facility's strong physical environment and therapy services against these reported lapses in bedside attention.

Key Review Excerpts

My mom has been here for months and even with her not wanting to be there at all, they made her feel at home and really focused on easing her anxiety. The staff is amazing, friendly, and there are plenty of them.

Long-term resident's family · 2026★★★★★

If your family member can use the call bell and ask to be changed or use the bathroom they should be okay but will have to wait probably a half hour for assistance. If they cannot advocate for themselves then they will sit in their bed wet for hours until a CNA decides to come assist them.

Family member · 2026☆☆☆☆

My Mother was there for rehab. I am a retired RN & this facility was horrible! On admission I signed paperwork that said I would be involved in my Mother’s care plan - never happened.
