This facility has a long-standing history of severe complaints regarding hygiene, neglect, and lack of communication. While some residents have had successful rehab outcomes, the recurring reports of dangerous conditions and unresponsiveness make this a high-risk choice; we strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Key Review Excerpts

The elevators do not work. This facility has residents in wheelchairs who need the elevators. There are 2 elevators. One has be out of service for over a month. The second elevator is dangerous.

Visitor/Family member · 2024☆☆☆☆

My mother-in-law, who was admitted in stable condition, has now become almost unrecognizable due to severe weight loss. It is alarming to see how drastically her health has deteriorated under their care.

Family member · 2024☆☆☆☆

The staff doesn't gaf about the residents. Medications are always late or not given at all. My father in law sat for hours after asking for help to use the bathroom, he couldn't walk!

Archer Heights Healthcare shows a troubling pattern with 165 deficiencies across 27 surveys, with 74 triggered by family complaints. The facility repeatedly struggles with resident protection from abuse and neglect, accident prevention and safety hazards, and medication management issues. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the persistent recurrence of serious problems—particularly abuse protection violations appearing multiple times—suggests ongoing systemic issues that families should carefully consider.
