Sutton Park Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation has a middle-range Medicare overall rating. Strengths include highly effective physical and occupational therapy teams. Some reviewers note concerns about neglect and slow response times to call bells (mentioned by 6 reviewers). Review the health-inspection, staffing, and quality-measure components separately, then visit in person.
Sutton Park Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation receives highly polarized feedback, with many families praising the facility for its attentive rehab team, clean environment, and engaging community events. However, a significant number of reviewers report serious concerns regarding neglect, unprofessionalism, and poor communication, particularly during evening and weekend shifts. Potential families should carefully weigh these conflicting experiences, as the quality of care appears to vary greatly depending on the specific unit and shift.

Key Review Excerpts
“My father was at Sutton Park for about four months after his hip surgery and I honestly didn’t know what to expect going in. What I found was a staff that actually knew his name, remembered how he took his coffee, and checked in on him without being asked.”
“I am a resident here right now. And the staff from 3 pm to 11pm are horrible. They ignore the bell when you push it. Last night I told the nurse I needed an aid. She said I get her. The aid didn't come. So I pressed the buzzer again. I waited an hour and a half.”
“If you care about your loved one I would suggest you choose another facility. First off I've seen them put elderly & rehab patients with patients who have mental health & addiction issues they often show aggressive behavior towards the other patients.”

Families have filed multiple complaint reports triggering recent inspections, with the most serious 2026 issues involving abuse/neglect reporting failures and unsafe living conditions still under correction plans. The facility shows recurring problems with care planning, resident safety oversight, and building maintenance across multiple years. While past deficiencies were eventually corrected, the pattern of complaints and repeated issues in core care areas suggests ongoing quality concerns families should investigate thoroughly before choosing this facility.
