What this means for your family

This facility is visually impressive and has a well-regarded Resident Ambassador program that helps bridge communication gaps. However, families should be aware of reports regarding inconsistent care for high-acuity needs and should conduct a thorough tour to observe staff responsiveness firsthand.

Stone Bridge Center for Health & Rehabilitation receives highly polarized feedback, with many families praising the facility's cleanliness, beautiful grounds, and the dedicated Resident Ambassador program. However, critical concerns regarding patient neglect, lack of preparedness for high-acuity needs, and reports of verbal or physical abuse suggest significant inconsistencies in care quality.

Key Review Excerpts

My husband was recently a patient at Stone Bridge in Newtown on the rehabilitation floor. The staff were caring, friendly and professional. We were impressed with every department Admissions,Social Services,Doctor,Aprn,Physiatrist,Physical Therapy ,Nursing, and Certified nursing aides.

Rehab patient's wife · 2024★★★★

They drop alot of balls in being prepared. No follow up when things are needed. They are not prepared for heavier patients. My friend had to wear the same outfit night and day for 4 days because she hadn't other clothes.

Friend of resident · 2025★★☆☆☆

The staff are rude, and neglect patients. Many times they have left my grandmother alone in her room for over 4 hours and ignore her when she rings the call bell.
