Protect each resident from the wrongful use of the resident's belongings or money.

Infection Control Deficiencies

Provide and implement an infection prevention and control program.

Immediately tell the resident, the resident's doctor, and a family member of situations (injury/decline/room, etc.) that affect the resident.

Quality of Life and Care Deficiencies

Provide appropriate treatment and care according to orders, resident’s preferences and goals.

Ensure each resident receives an accurate assessment.

Provide safe and appropriate respiratory care for a resident when needed.

Smoke Deficiencies

Have a complete alarm system manually initiated and initiated by fire sprinkler system connection.

Gas, Vacuum, and Electrical Systems Deficiencies

Have proper fire barriers, ventilation and signs for the transfilling of oxygen.

Infection Control Deficiencies

Provide and implement an infection prevention and control program.

Smoke Deficiencies

Install an approved automatic sprinkler system.

Miscellaneous Deficiencies

To conduct inspection, testing and maintenance of fire doors by qualified individuals.

Allow residents to self-administer drugs if determined clinically appropriate.

Ensure drugs and biologicals used in the facility are labeled in accordance with currently accepted professional principles; and all drugs and biologicals must be stored in locked compartments, separately locked, compartments for controlled drugs.

Nutrition and Dietary Deficiencies

Ensure therapeutic diets are prescribed by the attending physician and may be delegated to a registered or licensed dietitian, to the extent allowed by State law.

Develop and implement policies and procedures for flu and pneumonia vaccinations.
