Key Review Excerpts

My mom has been a resident at San Marino for over 2 years. This is a well managed and staff facility. Each time a visit I am met with smiles. My mom has never been so alert, clean and emotionally supported.

Long-term resident's family · 2024★★★★★

My first impression to say the least I was very reluctant based on the exterior of the facility being old not best amenities; as well as the residents the roam around not cognitive that are unstable. My experience is that the CNA and Activities staff as well as the Social Worker And DON and few others have definitely being attending to the needs of my mothers care.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★★★

San Marino Manor may not be as updated as some of the other facilities. It's better, in so many other ways that are so much more important then the decor. Staff is warm friendly. They have away of making you feel so welcome.

This facility has significant ongoing issues with families filing multiple complaints about serious care problems. Recurring deficiencies include protecting residents from abuse and neglect, accident prevention and safety, and fire safety systems. While the facility has provided correction dates for all violations, the pattern of repeated safety violations and complaint-triggered investigations for abuse protection raises concerns about sustained quality improvement.
