What this means for your family

This facility has serious, recurring reports of neglect and hygiene issues that should be a major red flag for any family. While individual staff members are occasionally praised, the systemic issues with management and understaffing pose significant risks to resident safety. We strongly recommend looking for alternative facilities with more consistent care standards.

RYZE AT HOMEWOOD receives highly polarized feedback, with a significant number of negative reviews citing severe neglect, poor hygiene, and unprofessional management. While several reviewers praise a specific nurse named Michelle for her individual dedication, these positive reports are heavily concentrated in a single month, contrasting sharply with recurring reports of understaffing, facility filth, and dangerous lapses in medical care.

Key Review Excerpts

These people dropped my mom and said she rolled out the bed. And just because you changed your name and administration don't mean you change the workers.

Memory care family member · 2025★★☆☆☆

If I can get this place, no stars I would my mom was sent there because she was weak from having cancer and was mistreated bed sores foot source. They smell in your face and treat your loved one wrong behind your back don’t fall for the reviews.

Family member · 2025☆☆☆☆

We had a loved one at Ryze Nursing Home, and the level of care was unacceptable. He fell on the floor on a Saturday, and staff never sent him out for medical evaluation. By Sunday night, he was dead.

This facility shows a concerning pattern of multiple family complaints triggering federal inspections, with persistent issues in accident prevention, abuse protection, and care quality. The facility has faced recurring problems with maintaining safe environments free from hazards, protecting residents from abuse and neglect, and providing appropriate treatment according to care plans. While all violations show correction dates, the repetitive nature across recent surveys suggests ongoing challenges in maintaining consistent care standards.
