What this means for your family
While the facility's restorative therapy team and admissions staff receive praise for their professionalism, the recurring reports of severe neglect and poor hygiene are critical red flags. If you consider this facility, perform unannounced visits at different times of the day to verify cleanliness and staffing levels, and ensure you have a clear plan for medical oversight.

63 reviews on Google“Aliya of Glenwood presents a highly polarized experience for families, with sharp divides between those who praise specific staff members for their kindness and those who report severe neglect and unsanitary conditions. While some families highlight professional admissions and restorative therapy, others describe critical failures in basic care, including reports of dehydration, unmanaged wounds, and poor hygiene. Prospective families should be aware that the facility has undergone recent ownership changes, yet negative reports regarding staffing levels and cleanliness persist.”

Key Review Excerpts
“They left my bedridden wife in soiled diapers when she had a lower back wound. She fell out of bed multiple times. They argued with me about sending her to the hospital when the lower back wound became infected.”
“My sister was here less than a week. She went out 911 because she was non responsive. On arrival to the hospital her BP was so low the doctor thought he was going to have to intubate her. When they opened her mouth it was full of rice (dinner?) She was also severely dehydrated. Unacceptable!”
“My grandfather was places in Aliya of Glenwood on Monday, May 12. I would like to say that all staff members were very supportive and professional. I especially like the attention given to the family by Chantel Brown even before my grandfather got there.”
