What this means for your family

This facility offers an exceptional environment for physical therapy and social engagement, which many residents find highly beneficial for recovery. However, given the recurring reports of medication errors and slow response times to call lights, we strongly advise families to visit frequently, monitor medication administration, and ensure a clear communication plan is established with the nursing management.

Key Review Excerpts

My husband Wayne has been a resident in Hunter Hollow for a year and this is by far the best nursing home I have ever been in. The staff is kind and caring, attentive to his needs and he is treated with dignity and respect.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★★★

My aunt was given medication she did not have a prescription for, along with other medications and overdosed. They said she had an DNR so they were going to let her die. It took 3 doses of Narcan by a EMT, that the family called to revive her.

Family member · 2026☆☆☆☆

The recreation area makes you feel like you are on a small town main street with storefronts and a sidewalk café, where they serve ice cream, but it is all inside the building and safe for all.
