What this means for your family

The agency shows great strength in empathy and navigating complex care transitions, especially with Medicaid. However, you should verify their backup staffing protocols and management responsiveness, as one family experienced significant issues with caregivers not showing up and a lack of communication from the office.

Families can expect a highly caring and professional staff that prioritizes listening to needs, particularly during difficult transitions like Medicaid enrollment. However, there is a significant documented risk regarding staff reliability and communication failures during absences.

Key Review Excerpts

My mom who is currently home on hospice recently went on Medicaid and I had to get rid of our other agency who we loved. After vetting multiple companies which was a nightmare, I came across Purple Hearts. I called and spoke with a very nice woman whom I explained my situation. She immediately sent me over to a case coordinator named Myra. Myra took the time to listen to me and understand my needs to properly care for my mom.

This company is awful. They don’t even know if their employees are working. People just don’t show up to work. Tried to reach out to the company as no one showed up for my mom I got a voicemail. I left a voicemail and No one ever called me back.
