What this means for your family

Vernon Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is widely regarded for its high-quality physical therapy and clean, modern environment, making it a strong candidate for post-surgical recovery. However, families should be aware of consistent feedback regarding poor meal quality and occasional lapses in nursing responsiveness; we recommend visiting during off-hours to observe staffing levels and asking specifically about their process for handling dietary requests.

Key Review Excerpts

My 97 year old Mom fell in her home on Oct 2, 2025. She had surgery on October 4th and on October 7, 2025 with the help of Kristi and Racquel along with the Manchester Hospital Social Worker they made arrangements to transport my Mom to the Rehab wing at Vernon Rehab.

Long-term resident's family · 2026★★★★★

The CNA, Zen, is a wonderful worker. She has a tremendous amount of compassion for her patients. I hope that if I ever am in such a facility I get someone like her.

Visitor · 2024★★★★★

The therapy is good. However staff is unresponsive and at times rude. My mother barely has enough to eat And the food is terrible
