Key Review Excerpts

The staff at Meridian is your strength - from the top down. The Concierge (Jane in particular) is always helpful. The senior leaders are open to resolve minor issues and to assure services are available and helpful.

Independent living resident · 2021★★★★★

Meridian said yes to my family when other places said no. They allowed my family to stay together for end of life transitions and I cannot tell you what a blessing that was for my family.

Family member · 2025★★★★★

My father lives in the long-term “care.” It’s dehumanizing and lacks any respect for people’s dignity. With some exceptions, the staff are rude to the residents and ignore their needs. Staffers spend hours staring at their smartphones instead of checking on residents.

Meridian Village has recurring issues with accident hazards and safety supervision appearing across three consecutive surveys, plus one family filed a complaint about abuse protection that was corrected. The facility shows persistent problems with fire safety systems, building exits, and dietary management, though all deficiencies have correction dates. The pattern of repeated safety concerns, particularly accident prevention failures, suggests families should carefully evaluate the facility's safety protocols during visits.
