Key Review Excerpts

The CNA left her alone in the shower with a wet towel on the shower floor and my sister fell and broke her leg in 2 places. 2 surgeries later we moved her.

Family member · 2026☆☆☆☆

My Mom suffered LOTS of bruises all over her legs, bottom of her left foot where the CNA slammed her foot down her foot pedal on her wheelchair, bruises on her wrists where they grabbed her.

Daughter · 2024☆☆☆☆

My husband had a back fracture and needed rehab and The Loft of East Peoria were wonderful! They have a great nursing staff, CNA staff, therapy staff, activity staff and administration staff that were very caring and supportive of his health and needs.

This facility has ongoing issues with families filing complaint reports leading to four deficiency findings over recent years. The most recurring problems involve resident care planning and assessments, quality of life and care issues, and fire safety concerns. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the pattern of repeated issues in similar areas across multiple surveys suggests systemic challenges that families should carefully consider during visits.
