What this means for your family

While recent reviews highlight a dedicated therapy team and friendly staff, the facility has a documented history of serious concerns regarding medication management and hygiene. We strongly recommend visiting during off-hours or weekends to observe staffing levels and cleanliness firsthand, and asking management specifically how they handle medication administration and resident safety.

Lake Pointe Health Care receives highly polarized feedback, with many recent five-star reviews praising the staff's dedication and therapy team, while long-term and critical reviewers report severe issues regarding hygiene, medication management, and understaffing. Families should be aware of a recurring pattern of complaints involving facility cleanliness, slow response times, and inconsistent care quality that contrasts sharply with the positive experiences reported by others.

Key Review Excerpts

The nursing staff treats their residents/ patients like nothing less than family. My favorite staff members would have to be Jasmine Lovett…she handles everyone with complete care.

Long-term resident's family · 2023☆☆☆☆

A place that is really trying to make the bad reputation go away. The new ED and the managers here are trying to improve the place and make the nursing home feel like it’s really home to the residents.

Visitor/Observer · 2023★★★★★

My husband was recently admitted to Lake point. When he got there, they took all of his medication‘s including his eyedrop, which he needs three times a day. My husband is as close to blind as you can be without being blind they never gave them the eye drops all day long
