What this means for your family
This facility offers excellent physical and occupational therapy, making it a strong candidate for short-term rehabilitation. However, families should be aware of significant concerns regarding responsiveness and communication. We strongly recommend visiting in person and asking specifically about their current nurse-to-patient ratios and how they handle medication timing for complex medical needs.

However, a significant number of families report serious concerns regarding chronic understaffing, slow response times to call lights, and inconsistent communication from administration. While many residents have successful recovery stories, others describe neglectful care, particularly regarding hygiene and medication management.”

Key Review Excerpts
“The nursing staff at Lacey post acute seem to be very good. However - the administration is lacking. My mother was there for 20 days. Upon admittance they were given my contact information. However - the majority of the time she was there I was not contacted for any updates.”
“The staff were always too busy, always left messages with NO callbacks. The PT was so bad, they said they did all these things but required an appointment to watch the sessions which is no good. No one knew enything and always had to 'ask someone else'.”
“I love this care facility! The people in all the departments are terrific! I had fabulous physical and occupational therapists who got me up going immediately. I was there for three weeks, and it felt like home.”

This facility has multiple families filing complaint reports, triggering 9 deficiency findings across recent surveys. The most recurring problems involve resident rights violations (particularly around informed consent and discharge procedures), medication management errors, and care planning failures. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the pattern of repeated issues in resident communication, pharmaceutical services, and basic care delivery suggests ongoing operational challenges that families should investigate during visits.
