What this means for your family

Kentmere shows strong results for short-term rehab, but families should be cautious regarding long-term care, especially for memory-impaired residents. We strongly recommend unannounced visits at different times of the day and night to verify staffing levels and hygiene standards before committing.

Key Review Excerpts

My Grandmother was at this facility for a short time and we are so upset with ourselves that she even stayed there for a single second. Under their 'care' my Grandmother was not fed, she laid in soiled depends and bedding for HOURS.

Memory care family member · 2024☆☆☆☆

The rehab team is fantastic, they communicate well and are always looking to assist. My Mom has been there for several years and there is very little turnover of the staff.

Long-term resident's family · 2026★★★★★

Took my mom there for respite care and they put her on a regular floor- SHE HAS DEMENTIA!!! They put her on the Physical Therapy floor. No one came to see about her while we were there.

Kentmere has concerning patterns with families filing complaints about abuse protection and accident prevention, appearing across multiple recent surveys. The facility shows recurring issues in abuse and neglect protections, accident hazard prevention, and food safety that persist over time.
