Questions for Your Tour

  • 1I noticed your team is very active in responding to online feedback; how do you use that family input to improve daily operations and communication?
  • 2Given the importance of medication safety, could you walk me through your specific process for double-checking dosages and ensuring residents receive their prescriptions on time?
  • 3With a smaller capacity of 35 residents, how do you ensure that staff members are always available to assist with immediate hygiene needs and personal care requests?
  • 4I see that rehab and therapy services are a strength here; how are those programs integrated into a resident's daily routine to keep them engaged?
  • 5What steps is the leadership team currently taking to address the recent CMS health inspection findings and improve the overall quality of care?

Key Review Excerpts

I am a nurse of 37 years and I am hard to impress but I was so impress with all the staff at Quail Haven from the front desk staff, nurses to the housekeeping staff!

Long-term resident's family · 2023★★★★★

Absolutely disgraceful how they treat people, less than a week of having my Grandmother here and she was almost dead because of the poor care received. Meds were messed up, no one was attentive to her health, giving sedatives so they could ignore the problem.

Long-term resident's family · 2023☆☆☆☆

She would ask for help to only be told I will be right back. I asked for help with her she was soaked with urine that morning. They gave her. Her breakfast and said be right back. Would you sit in your urine from all night and eat.

Inn at Quail Haven Village has concerning patterns with families filing complaints that triggered inspections, particularly around resident protection and basic care issues. The most recurring problems involve infection control appearing across multiple surveys, food safety violations persisting from 2023 to 2025, and serious issues protecting residents from financial exploitation that have occurred repeatedly. While the facility corrects deficiencies when cited, the persistence of key problems across years suggests ongoing challenges with fundamental care standards.
