What this means for your family

While the facility is physically modern and offers effective rehabilitation therapy, the recurring reports of medication errors and ignored call lights are significant red flags. If you choose this facility, you must be prepared to be an extremely active advocate for your loved one, including verifying medication administration and maintaining frequent, direct communication with nursing staff.

Green Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation presents a stark contrast between its modern, clean physical facility and the quality of patient care provided. While some families report positive rehab outcomes and praise individual staff members, a significant number of reviewers describe severe neglect, including delayed medication administration, ignored call lights, and poor communication from management. Families should be aware that experiences appear highly inconsistent, with many reports of residents being left in unhygienic conditions or suffering from medical complications due to perceived understaffing.

Key Review Excerpts

The staff rarely answered her call button, and it was nearly impossible to get anyone to clean her bathroom. The only kind and attentive people were the day nurse and the occupational therapist.

Long-term resident's family · 2025☆☆☆☆

The biggest issue is that they did not give her the diuretic she takes daily for her CHF, even though she was getting it in the hospital before she arrived and they had the hospital meds list.

Long-term resident's family · 2025☆☆☆☆

My dad stayed at Green Village on multiple occasions, and his most recent stay, which ultimately became his final one, left a lasting impression on our hearts. During a very challenging season for our family, they helped make it less overwhelming.
