Key Review Excerpts

The nursing staff was at times I thought I was going to lose my husband. After his hospital stay, he was place at Casa of Hobart for rehabilitation. We received excellent treatment and care.

Rehab patient's wife · 2024☆☆☆☆

Even in the middle of the night, it would take at least an hour for anyone to respond to a call light. The food was horrible. They never changed the sheets on the bed before I got there and everything on my bed smelled like urine.

Rehab patient · 2024☆☆☆☆

Father In Law has been in the Dementia Unit for a year and a half. Wonderful staff, caregivers are exceptional. He is always clean and engaged in activities when we visit, which is weekly.

$14,433 in fines

Casa of Hobart has a concerning pattern with 118 deficiencies across 14 surveys, including 51 complaint-triggered issues indicating families have filed reports about problems. The facility repeatedly struggles with infection control, pressure ulcer care, and daily living assistance, with these same issues appearing across multiple surveys from 2022 through 2025. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the persistent recurrence of similar problems suggests ongoing quality challenges that families should carefully consider.
