What this means for your family

While the facility has a strong reputation for physical and occupational therapy, the recent, recurring reports of patient neglect, dehydration, and unsanitary conditions are deeply concerning. If you consider this facility, we strongly recommend conducting an unannounced visit on a weekend to observe staffing levels and cleanliness firsthand, and asking management specifically how they address resident hydration and call-light response times.

Key Review Excerpts

My mother when she was there was severely dehydrated... there is systematic apathy that runs through this facility from the many residents lying in bed all day on weekends including allowing their food trays sit in their rooms and picking them up with out being touched.

Memory care family member · 2026☆☆☆☆

The care my huband received was beyond poor. And after making two complaints it got even worse. His bed was changed once in 3 weeks, he is on a special diet and with each meal he received foods he should not have.

Long-term resident's family · 2019☆☆☆☆

The Arbors staff refused to release medical information for a transport back home holding the patient hostage. Attempts to get an ambulance or amulet home became a fight and the administration became involved.
