What this means for your family

Vivante offers a premium, resort-style experience with exceptional dining and a highly caring staff that many families find transformative. However, you should closely vet their protocols for medical transitions and discharges, as recent reviews suggest they may struggle to support residents with increasing medical complexities or handle the logistics of moving residents out of the facility.

Key Review Excerpts

The entire staff at Vivante Newport Mesa was Next Level. They anticipated our family needs and provided service for our luxury needs from Medical needs to White Table food & beverage.

Family of resident · 2025★★★★★

My mother was moved out by medical transport. These people don’t have a plan for people leaving. My mother is in a wheel chair and has dementia. They wheeled her out of her room to transport and put her on. They did not ask for keys or emergency beeper.

Family of resident · 2024☆☆☆☆

My Dad was asked to leave the resort because they did not want to deal with his disability and he was seeing doctors set up by Vivanti to help him. For the amount of Money they charge, close to about 30,000. dollars a month, you would think they would do better.
