Questions for Your Tour

  • 1I noticed your team is very active in responding to online feedback; how do you use that resident and family input to continuously improve the daily dining experience?
  • 2Given that physical and occupational therapy are such strong highlights here, how do you integrate those services into a resident's daily routine to ensure they stay active?
  • 3With the current staffing levels, what specific systems or protocols do you have in place to ensure that call lights are answered promptly, especially during peak times?
  • 4Could you walk me through your current process for monitoring and managing wound care and hygiene to ensure residents receive consistent, high-quality attention?
  • 5Since medication management is a critical part of care, what oversight measures do you have in place to ensure accuracy and timely administration for your residents?
  • 6How does your nursing team coordinate with local medical providers to handle urgent health changes or emergencies, and how are families kept informed during those moments?

Key Review Excerpts

My five star experience with Thrive was with Nicole, one of the social workers/discharge planners. Rather than discharging me from Thrive, which is a short term rehab facility, she made arrangements to transfer me to Meadowbrook Manor in Naperville, which is a long-term care/rehab facility.

Rehab patient · 2025★★★★★

My grandma who was placed here, a low level Alzheimer's patient, came with a broken ankle which she was not allowed to put weight on. Yet every time a CNA or care provider (besides PT) came in the room to transfer her from bed to chair, they let her put weight on it, not knowing anything about her care or restrictions.

Grandchild of resident · 2026★★☆☆☆

The facility is beautiful and clean. Had both my parents in and they shared a room which was nice. Now for the bad news. With a few exceptions, food and the service was mediocre. Silverware forgotten. Food items forgotten. Taste was hit or miss. Call lights took forever to be answered.
