What this means for your family

This facility has a very welcoming front-of-house team and effective physical therapy, but there are recurring, serious reports of understaffing and neglect. If you consider this facility, we strongly recommend visiting unannounced during off-hours and asking specifically about the CNA-to-patient ratio and how they handle wound care and hygiene for non-ambulatory residents.

Spanish Trails Rehabilitation Suites (also referred to as Fiesta Park Wellness and Rehabilitation) receives polarized feedback from families. While many visitors praise the facility for its cleanliness, welcoming front-desk staff, and effective physical therapy programs, a significant number of reviewers report serious concerns regarding neglect, poor hygiene, and inadequate staffing levels. Families should be aware that while some patients have positive recovery experiences, others have reported issues with wound care, dehydration, and slow response times to basic needs.

Key Review Excerpts

The staff were nice. Some are more attentive than others. Perhaps they are short of staff, at times when he Press the Button. no one responded to his needs!

Long-term resident's family · 2026☆☆☆☆

1 CNA for 20-30 residents in their short term rehab facility. Left my mother in a soiled diaper for up too two hours everyday. Lack of professional staff and mediocre care.

Long-term resident's family · 2026☆☆☆☆

The PT's and OT's were excellent, but they accounted for only one hour of the day. The CNAs are responsible for your experience the rest of the time. There were a few who were diligent and caring, but they couldn't keep up with their responsibilities due to the severe understaffing at this facility.
