What this means for your family

This facility has a strong reputation for cleanliness and effective physical therapy, but the recent surge in reports regarding neglect and poor communication is concerning. Families should conduct unannounced visits, specifically during evening or weekend hours, to observe staffing levels and response times firsthand before committing to this facility.

Fiesta Park Wellness & Rehabilitation receives polarized feedback, with many families praising the facility's cleanliness, welcoming front desk staff, and effective physical therapy programs. However, a significant number of reviewers report serious concerns regarding neglect, including reports of patients left in soiled conditions, poor hygiene, dehydration, and cold, unappealing meals. Families should weigh the positive experiences of short-term rehab patients against the critical reports of inconsistent nursing care and communication failures.

  • 3We are looking for a place with great nutrition; could you tell us more about the meal service, specifically how you ensure food arrives at the right temperature and how much input residents have in the menu?
  • 4How does the nursing team manage communication with families, especially when there are updates regarding medication changes or shifts in medical needs?
  • 5In the event of a medical emergency after hours, what is the specific process for contacting the physician and notifying the family?

Key Review Excerpts

The biggest flaw in this facility is the food service. Out of 19 days at the facility, the food was decent for 2 days.

Long-term resident's family · 2025☆☆☆☆

The PT’s and OT‘s were excellent, but they accounted for only one hour of the day. The CNAs are responsible for your experience the rest of the time. There were a few who were diligent and caring, but they couldn’t keep up with their responsibilities due to the severe understaffing at this facility.

Rehab patient · 2026★★☆☆☆

My dad was here for 48 hours and they sent him back to the hospital. When the paramedics arrived to transport him he was in such bad condition that they asked if we wanted to file a complaint for elder abuse.

Fiesta Park has recurring problems with medication management, nutrition and dietary services, and care planning that persist across multiple surveys from 2022 to 2025, indicating ongoing systemic issues. Families have filed eight complaints triggering federal investigations, resulting in deficiencies related to resident dignity, safety hazards, treatment quality, and dietary accommodations. While all violations show correction dates, the repeated nature of core care deficiencies across years suggests implementation challenges.
