Key Review Excerpts

This talented team brought my Mom back from a very tough hospitalization to her pre-hospital baseline—maybe better. When she arrived at the facility she was only 80 pounds, unable to walk, speak plainly or perform any tasks of daily living. She is leaving 30 days later at 94 pounds, walking, dressing, talking clearly, laughing, playing bingo and planning a night out for pizza!

Rehab patient's family · 2025★★★★★

The facility is generally clean. Except for a nagging issue with gnats, for the weeks that my wife was there I saw no other critters. There is no lingering smell of urine or other unpleasant smells. The rooms are adequate, and some are quite spacious. However, the weakness of Shalom Gardens is in the staffing. The nurses and CNAs work very hard. But there are not enough of them.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★☆☆

My 20 day stay at Shalom Gardens was horrific. I was there for three wounds in my thigh. I never saw their wound doctor . He never stepped in my room and I was told he was not going to come to my room. They do not have enough nurses and all the nurses except for two were agency nurses who did not know what they were doing.
