Salemtowne presents a stark contrast between its independent living community and its clinical care services. Key Review Excerpts

Then in October 2024 I returned following gall bladder surgery for 48 miserable hours of inadequate care: no working HVAC, no call button that could reach the chair, no meal one day, uncomfortable mattress... indifferent caregivers, no shower assistance and a defensive and indifferent staff.

Rehab patient · 2025☆☆☆☆

We left him there 1 night, he fell out of bed 4 times! They never even bothered to call us. When we arrived the next morning to check on him, that is when we were told and had to take him back to the hospital by ambulance.

Long-term resident's family · 2019☆☆☆☆

I have lived in an apartment at Salemtowne since late 2016. I love it here. There is plenty going on to choose from. Every week day there are multiple exercise classes for any fitness level.
