What this means for your family

This facility has a long-standing history of serious neglect and safety concerns that should be carefully considered. While some individual staff members are praised, the systemic issues regarding call light response times, hygiene, and communication are critical risks. We strongly recommend looking for a facility with a more consistent track record of patient safety and administrative accountability.

Google Reviews

Google Reviews

Royal Springs Healthcare and Rehab receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from families and patients, with recurring reports of severe neglect, poor hygiene, and unresponsive staff. While a small minority of reviewers praise specific therapists or individual nurses, the vast majority describe a facility plagued by chronic understaffing, theft of personal property, and a lack of basic clinical oversight. Families should be aware of consistent, serious allegations regarding patient safety, including unaddressed call lights, poor wound care, and communication failures.

Royal Springs has concerning patterns of recurring violations across multiple surveys, including families filing complaints that triggered federal investigations. The facility shows repeated deficiencies in nursing staffing, medication management, and safety systems (fire, electrical, emergency preparedness) across all four surveys from 2023-2025. While the facility reports correcting each violation, the persistence of similar issues suggests ongoing operational challenges that families should carefully evaluate before choosing this facility.
