What this means for your family

This facility has a strong reputation for its physical therapy and clean environment, but it suffers from systemic issues with staffing levels and food quality. If you choose this center, ensure you have a family member or advocate who can visit regularly to monitor care, as communication and response times can be unreliable.

Life Care Center of Las Vegas receives highly polarized feedback, with many families praising specific staff members—particularly unit manager Mona Lisa—for their compassion and attentiveness. However, a significant number of reviewers report serious concerns regarding chronic understaffing, poor communication, and recurring issues with cold, unappealing food. Families should be aware that while some patients have positive rehab experiences, others describe neglect and difficulty reaching staff when assistance is needed.

Key Review Excerpts

The facility was very clean and well maintained! All staff members I had contact were very friendly and helpful! A truly appreciated the help CNA’s provided to my wife! She has dementia and doesn’t always allow someone to feed her! Your CNA’s had no problem!

Memory care family member · 2025★★★★★

I’ve been a patient of life care center of Las Vegas for over a month and a half . The nurses are fantastic. The food is good. The facility is immaculate. I would definitely come back here if I need Care in the future and I would recommend it to anyone who needs rehab care.

Rehab patient · 2023☆☆☆☆

This place is very nice and clean. They are very understaffed. It took almost 2 hours to get some assistance. The ones that did come were the ones that were not certified to provide the right help.
