This facility's therapy team is highly regarded for successful rehabilitation outcomes, making it a potential candidate for short-term recovery. Promenade Health and Rehabilitation is frequently praised for its highly effective physical and occupational therapy teams, with many patients reporting successful recovery and transition back home. However, the facility faces serious allegations from some families regarding poor medical oversight, medication errors, and neglect, particularly concerning long-term residents. Prospective families should weigh the strong rehabilitation outcomes against these significant concerns regarding nursing care and communication.

Key Review Excerpts

The physical therapist group here is truly phenomenal and each and everyone of them really know their jobs. I'm doing things already that I had no idea I

Rehab patient · 2023★★★★★

If you care for your loved one do not send them here. My mom who has dementia was here for several months. They drugged her into submission, placed restraints on her to prevent her from walking around, the food was horrible, and they mixed up her medications which almost killed her.

Memory care family member · 2024☆☆☆☆

The nursing staff walked us through some difficult times. We never came across anyone who was rude or uncaring. We appreciate everyone so much for the love and care that was given to our family.

3deficiencies

1 complaint-triggered

This facility shows recurring problems across multiple areas, with families filing complaints about food quality and restraint use. The most frequent issues involve nutrition and dietary services (appearing in multiple surveys), infection control, and improper use of physical restraints. While most deficiencies have been corrected, the pattern of repeated violations in nutrition services and the fact that families felt compelled to file formal complaints about basic care standards raises concerns about consistent quality oversight.
