What this means for your family

While some families report excellent experiences, particularly in the memory care unit, there is a recurring pattern of serious safety concerns including medication errors and physical handling issues. We strongly recommend that you visit unannounced, specifically observe the call light response times, and ask for a detailed plan on how they manage medication administration and staff-to-patient ratios.

Key Review Excerpts

I am so grateful that I was alert enough to catch these errors myself. I asked to speak with the nurse that did my intake had 'no idea' what my meds were when I asked her to go over them with me.

Rehab patient · 2023☆☆☆☆

The difference was the staff and how they truly care for the people that reside there. From the nursing staff, to the cleaning staff, to the chef, to the grounds keeper, they were all so kind and caring to both my Mom and to our family.

Memory care family member · 2024★★★★★

On the first day, it took the day nurse and aide to transfer my father from the bed to his wheelchair and they almost dropped him. He should have been transferred using a lift, but we couldn’t get a meeting with his care team.
