Questions for Your Tour

  • 1We've heard great things about the dining options here; could you tell us a bit more about the daily meal menus and how much variety there is?
  • 2The social activities mentioned in recent feedback sound wonderful—what are some of the most popular weekly events that residents participate in?
  • 3How does the nursing team manage call light responses during the busier times of the day to ensure everyone gets timely assistance?
  • 4Since we may need to reach someone in the middle of the night, what is the best way for our family to get in touch with the staff after regular business hours?
  • 5We noticed the grounds look very well-maintained; are there any ongoing updates or improvements being made to the older wings of the building?

Key Review Excerpts

Marycrest and their staff brought my mother back to life. Her previous facility was very neglectful of her and she was declining. Marycrest treats their residents like family, they are kind, compassionate and respectful.

Memory care family member · 2023★★★★★

The facility is undergoing quite a few renovations which is nice for the new tenants coming in. They seem to focus less on the older Newburgh manor side since construction has begun and the roof on the older side is in desperate need of repair.

Long-term resident's family · 2024★★★★

We used Marycrest for one week of respite for my elderly mother with severe dementia while we went out of town. She is nonverbal and goes from her bed to her wheelchair twice a day. Our experience... was very positive.
