What this means for your family

While the facility is physically modern and offers effective therapy, the recurring reports of long response times and neglect are critical red flags. If you choose this facility, you must be prepared to visit daily to advocate for your loved one's basic needs, as staffing levels appear insufficient to handle patient requests reliably.

Key Review Excerpts

Meadowbrook rehab had my mother walking by the fifth week. They never gave up on her and believed in her.

Memory care family member · 2023★★★★★

I walked the halls to see if there were other rooms that had lights blinking, I did this on two separate occasions and my mother was the only room requesting assistance. I was here for an HOUR before anyone finally changed her diaper.

Long-term resident's family · 2022☆☆☆☆

My father was there for over 1.5 months and it just keep getting worse and worse. Especially the weekends. He would asked to be changed from soiled linens and it would take hours to change is bed and undergarments.

Meadowbrook Manor has a concerning pattern of repeated safety violations, particularly accident hazard prevention (cited five times in two years) and medication management problems, with 18 deficiencies triggered by family complaints. While all issues show correction dates, the persistent recurrence of safety hazards, pressure ulcer care failures, and medication errors across multiple surveys suggests ongoing operational challenges that families should carefully evaluate.
