The Inn at Freedom Village receives highly polarized feedback, with recent reviews highlighting significant improvements in management and staff attentiveness. While many families praise the beautiful grounds, therapy department, and dedicated nursing staff, others have raised serious concerns regarding inconsistent communication, medication management, and slow call-bell response times. Prospective families should weigh the facility's strong rehabilitation outcomes against reports of uneven care quality.

Key Review Excerpts

The call bell response was great! Everyone had a positive uplifting attitude! When you pull up to freedom village it is a beautiful sight very well kept and clean.

Rehab patient · 2025★★★★★

The new management made a big noticeable improvements and difference in all aspects of the patients treatment. The changes were quickly in effect, as if these changes were administered "intervenously' to all the staff, and great performance became "contagious ".

Family member · 2025★★★★★

Sadly after less than a week there for COPD and neuromuscular therapy we found her care to be outrageously disappointing. Two of her crucial medications were discontinued, one due to incompatibility with a new antibiotic without replacement attempt by the physician.

11deficiencies
Well above state avg (7.3)
2 complaint-triggered

The facility shows a concerning pattern of recurring deficiencies, particularly in medication management and care planning, which have appeared across multiple surveys from 2021 to 2024. The most recent 2024 inspection found significant issues with medication error rates, infection control, resident privacy protections, and failure to properly report suspected abuse or neglect. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the persistent recurrence of fundamental care issues like medication safety and treatment planning suggests ongoing operational challenges that families should carefully consider.
