What this means for your family

While the facility is praised for its modern environment and therapy programs, families should be extremely cautious regarding the quality of direct nursing care. We strongly recommend conducting unannounced visits and asking specific questions about their protocol for managing dementia-related agitation and their process for communicating patient falls to family members.

Key Review Excerpts

The nursing staff are great however they are over worked. The physical therapist is a joke. To get released you have to be able to say the name correctly. They did not push him.

Long-term resident's family · 2026☆☆☆☆

My mother came home with a stage 3 bed sore. She was suppose to be there for Caridiac rehab and she didn't get that. She was suppose to be walked every hour on the hour during waking hours and that didn't happen.

Long-term resident's family · 2020☆☆☆☆

As a nurse practitioner, who has had the opportunity to collaborate with the team at DOBIE Road, I can confidently say that this is one of the most compassionate and well run, subacute, rehab, and nursing facilities I’ve encountered.
