Families should note that while many reviewers praise the compassionate nursing staff and excellent physical therapy, there are significant, recurring reports of neglect regarding hygiene and staffing shortages. While some recent reviews highlight a positive turnaround under new leadership, older and more recent critical reviews warn of issues with odors, missed baths, and inconsistent care.

Key Review Excerpts

While the facility is an older building, it is remarkably well-maintained—far exceeding others in its age bracket—and the staff's dedication makes this place truly shine.

Friend of a deceased resident · 2025★★★★★

The staff are amazing, the leadership team is the best it's ever been! Very passionate CNA's and overall a great team!

Family member · 2025★★★★★

When my mom first arrived in July 2021 it wasn't a bad place. Fast forward to 2024; alot of staff turnover, which means some failures in care. The place smells terrible 24/7 these days, my mom's been left in her bed an entire day recently (and last yr on Easter) because of short-staffing.

This facility shows concerning patterns with families filing numerous complaints that triggered over half the deficiencies, particularly around abuse prevention policies, medication management, and accident prevention. Issues with abuse/neglect protection policies have recurred across multiple surveys from 2024 through 2025, and accident hazard problems persist with violations in 2023, 2025, and ongoing concerns. While most deficiencies show correction dates, the repeated nature of serious safety issues suggests systemic problems that families should carefully consider.
