What this means for your family

However, the recurring reports of slow response times and inconsistent hygiene for dependent residents are serious concerns; we strongly recommend asking for a tour of the specific unit your loved one will be in and observing staff response times during a weekend or evening visit.

  • 2I understand that nutrition is vital for recovery; could you walk me through how the facility ensures meal quality and addresses specific dietary preferences or complaints?
  • 3With the recent focus on improving hygiene standards, what is your daily process for monitoring and ensuring that residents' personal care needs and linens are attended to consistently?
  • 4Could you explain the current system for medication administration and the checks in place to prevent errors or missed doses?
  • 5I noticed the facility has a high volume of physical and occupational therapy success stories; how do you integrate those therapy goals into the resident's daily routine?
  • 6How does your administrative team communicate with families regarding changes in a resident's health status, and what is the best way for us to stay updated on our loved one's care plan?

Key Review Excerpts

The first couple weeks were horrible due to a lack of response from the staff. We had several meetings with the management and they committed to improving their response to requests, but it didn't immediately improve.

Memory care family member · 2024★★★☆☆

My mother has been there since May of 2025. A few of their nurses are great along with the aids. My mom is bedridden and will ask several times just to even get her face washed let alone her body and change her clothes. They tell her when they get time and leave and no return.

Long-term resident's family · 2025☆☆☆☆

My friend is currently in physical rehabilitation here and I'm constantly surprised by how kind and genuine the staff is, and how nice the facility itself is. It's always a pleasure to visit.
