Additionally, the facility did not contact the physician's office to clarify medication use after the resident began refusing the treatment.

The facility's medication administration record (MAR) was inaccurate regarding the administration of Clobetasol 0.05% ointment. The MAR showed the medication was being administered twice daily, yet an observation revealed the medication was not available on hand, and pharmacy records showed it had not been dispensed since September 2020.
