What this means for your family

This facility offers excellent rehabilitation and therapy services, which many families find highly effective for short-term recovery. However, there is a persistent pattern of understaffing that leads to significant delays in basic care, such as call light response and hygiene assistance. If you choose this facility, we strongly recommend having a family member visit daily to advocate for your loved one's needs.

Altercare of Nobles Pond presents a highly polarized experience for families, with many praising the physical environment and therapy department while others report severe neglect. While some families highlight excellent care and professional staff, a significant number of reviewers cite chronic understaffing, long response times for call lights, and failures in basic hygiene and medication management. Families should be aware that experiences appear to vary drastically depending on the specific shift and wing.

Key Review Excerpts

The therapy at Nobles Pond was superior to anywhere he was on his journey to recovering. He ultimately returned home and received home care from Altercare Home Health.

Long-term resident's family · 2024☆☆☆☆

My mom was admitted short term to Noble’s Pond for PT and I have to say that as a nurse for 26 years I’ve been in some terrible nursing homes so I was very upset that she had to be admitted to one. When I visited Nobles Pond I was VERY pleasantly surprised!!

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★★★

I had a list of incidents that were either unprofessional, unkind, or unacceptable. The list was too long to post. The stay was less than a month. Repeated notifications to administrator and directors of nursing To correct failures.
