What this means for your family

While many families report excellent rehab outcomes and compassionate care, there is a persistent pattern of understaffing and neglectful hygiene practices. We strongly recommend visiting during off-hours or weekends to observe staffing levels yourself and asking specifically about their protocols for medication administration and call-light response times.

Altercare of Navarre receives highly polarized feedback, with many families praising the compassionate, dedicated staff and effective rehab therapy, while others report severe neglect and hygiene issues. Critical concerns consistently focus on understaffing, slow response times to call lights, and failures in basic patient care such as hygiene and medication management. Key Review Excerpts

The day nurses are great they were all great with my mother as well. The night nurses on the other hand need to be reevaluated. It is NOT OK to leave a man stripped of everything bed sheets, clothes laying there naked bc they are on Lasix and can't control when they have to pee.

Family member · 2024★★☆☆☆

My dad witch is 93 was there 3 weeks and we got him out as fast as we could. I think its a horrible place. Choose wisely.

Family member · 2024☆☆☆☆

The staff was very communicative with changes with my grandfather and recommended an absolutely wonderful hospice service for him.
