What this means for your family

Wingate at Silver Lake has a highly regarded rehabilitation therapy team, making it a potential option for short-term recovery. However, the facility has a history of serious complaints regarding call-button response times and hygiene, so we strongly recommend visiting in person and observing the floor during off-peak hours to ensure your loved one's needs will be met.

Key Review Excerpts

Nursing, OT & PT staff are beyond 5 star. They are kind, compassionate, gentle, and overall a pleasure. I can not say enough about how their kindness expedited my recovery.

Rehab patient · 2024★★★★

The nurses most certainly are not. My mother waited countless times over 1.5hrs for her pain medication. More than half the rooms are empty. I had to call the nurses station and ask to speak with her nurse directly to see what the issue was.

Long-term resident's family · 2018☆☆☆☆

My father was in the rehab section at Wingate for almost 2 months and we are lucky that he got out alive! He was discharged last week with a HORRIBLE rash in has groin area that was covered in caked-on yeast. The VNA said that it must have been there for at least a week.
