Key Review Excerpts

The space is bright and cheerful, the staff is always friendly and they accommodate things like having our family members wheel her outside in good

Memory care family member · 2025★★★★★

Nurses are incredibly rude – – when you can even get one of them to talk to you or answer the phone. Families are given conflicting information, and patients are served things like sandwiches with one piece of turkey and one piece of cheese completely dry as “dinner”.

Long-term resident's family · 2025☆☆☆☆

The staff was warm and friendly and made my mom feel comfortable at all times. Patty and Jen were especially helpful in coordinating her care and navigating the insurance process.

West Shore Health Center has a concerning pattern of recurring deficiencies across three federal surveys, with infection control problems appearing multiple times and medication management issues identified twice. The facility has also had repeated problems with dietary services and care planning. While all deficiencies show correction dates, the persistence of similar issues across surveys suggests ongoing operational challenges that families should carefully consider.
