What this means for your family
While some families report a positive, long-term relationship with the facility, there are serious, recurring reports of neglect regarding basic hygiene and slow response times. When touring, we strongly recommend asking for a detailed plan on how the facility ensures timely responses to call lights and how they manage communication with families during medical emergencies.

Key Review Excerpts
“They denied a bath to my grandma , it Wasn’t only one time it was multiple occasions they denied to give her a bath. She needed a bath every day because she has a skin condition because of her cancer treatments ….They left her to sit in her bed needing to use the bathroom for 4 HOURS… after calling multiple times for help!!”
“The staff is pleasant enough but there are not enough nurses per ward. Because of this, they don't call back as they should, to concerned family members and with detailed enough information, that would ordinarily keep fanilies aware of the status of the loved one.”
“My mom is nearly their “longest” resident, yet. We have seen them at their best and worst. She has been at two other “homes” in CENLA but TCC is definitely our fave. They have a great team and have gone out of their way to take good care and meet many of her special requests.”

The facility has recurring issues with care planning, daily living assistance, and food safety that persist across surveys despite corrections.
