What this means for your family

While the independent living section is highly regarded, the skilled nursing and rehab units have received multiple, serious reports of neglect and unprofessionalism. If you are considering this facility, we strongly recommend unannounced visits and asking specifically about their protocols for call-light response times and hygiene management.

Key Review Excerpts

The care and compassion shown to both her and my family from the staff was incredible.

Long-term resident's family · 2023★★★★★

The facility called us saying my grandmother was found unresponsive, and they were calling the ambulance. A few minutes later, they called back saying “never mind, she is responsive now. We think she was unresponsive due to the position she was in (slumped over in her wheelchair).

Memory care family member · 2024☆☆☆☆

She had sores all over head and oozing pus and hair fell out when brushed because they didn't wash her hair. She had layers of dead skin on her face and ears and smelled disgusting.
