What this means for your family

The Laurels of Heath is highly regarded for its physical therapy and modern facility, making it a strong candidate for short-term rehab. However, due to recurring, serious reports of neglect and communication gaps, families should conduct frequent, unannounced visits and maintain direct contact with the nursing director to ensure their loved one's needs are consistently met.

Key Review Excerpts

The staff here is so friendly and welcoming. If the time I called in to check out the place and see if they had availability. They make it so easy and fast.

Family member · 2024☆☆☆☆

I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a safe and clean place to live or rehabilitate! Administration and staff are top notch. Food is excellent and the occupational and physical therapy are the best I've been associated with.

Family member · 2024★★★★★

My mom is currently at the Laurels. There is some very caring staff but there is also problems getting my mom's basic needs met. For example she hasn't had a shower in over two months.
