What this means for your family

This facility offers a beautiful environment and a robust activity calendar that many residents enjoy. However, families should be cautious regarding the memory care unit and should specifically ask about current staffing ratios and turnover rates, as multiple reviewers have cited concerns about care consistency and management responsiveness.

StoryPoint Northville is a visually appealing, modern facility that receives high praise for its physical environment, engaging activities, and the efforts of specific staff members like the community specialists. However, families should be aware of a recurring pattern of serious concerns regarding understaffing, inconsistent care quality in the memory care unit, and significant annual rent increases. While many reviewers describe a warm, family-like atmosphere, others have reported critical safety lapses and poor management responsiveness.

Key Review Excerpts

If your loved one is of complete sound mind and is totally healthy and mobile… this may be an ok place. If not…. Run!!

Family member of resident · 2023☆☆☆☆

Anthology of Northville is understaffed, and does not have well trained, caring staff (in Memory Care). After attempting to work with uncooperative management I moved my Mom out of this unsafe facility.

Memory care family member · 2023☆☆☆☆

The rent has been increasing substantially two times per year (this year alone $850 per month) based on services, care and meals. The only service my mom receives is trash removal.
