What this means for your family

This facility has a strong rehab team and many staff members who are highly praised for their compassion. However, because multiple reviewers have reported critical lapses in medical care and communication, especially on weekends, we strongly advise you to visit during off-hours and ask specific questions about their weekend staffing ratios and emergency escalation protocols.

Solaris Healthcare Osceola receives highly polarized feedback, with many families praising the compassionate, attentive nursing and rehab staff who go above and beyond to make residents feel at home. However, a significant number of reviewers report serious concerns regarding neglect, understaffing, and poor communication, particularly during weekends and night shifts. Families considering this facility should be aware of these inconsistencies in care quality and the potential for communication breakdowns.

Key Review Excerpts

The shortness of staff is really trying on the residents and the staff, especially on the weekends. Way too many call-outs.

Local Guide · 2025★★★★

My mother was admitted to the facility for back fractures rehab. Day 1 she was left in bed with no call button, so she could not even go to the bathroom. Nasty Lady named Lisa ignored my complaints when I called and hung up the phone.

Family member · 2023☆☆☆☆

My husband completed his 100 days last month & we made the transition for him to return home. Nurses have come to check on him & he is getting some physical therapy at home. Solaris has called me a few times to check up on him and our family to see how we are doing.
